What sort of research does ROpinions do?

We provide customers with a number of ways to share their opinion. By registering with ROpinionsResearch.com, you can complete online surveys, participate in focus groups and take part in mystery shopping opportunities.

What is a focus group?

A focus group is an opinion-seeking panel discussion where customers like you are asked to share ideas about new products and services.

Groups usually consist of 8 to 12 people who participate in a 90-minute discussion led by a professional moderator. Often the participants in each group have common traits, experiences or characteristics that allow the discussions to be interesting and informative.

There’s no preparation necessary, no training needed. We simply want to hear your honest opinion.

What is mystery shopping?

Mystery shoppers visit or call businesses posing as ordinary customers. Later, they provide detailed evaluations of their experience using written reports or questionnaires.

Mystery shopping is used in a wide variety of industries such as retail, restaurants, financial institutions, department stores and various service providers.

It’s simple—you’re paid to go out on a free shopping or dining experience outing and then give honest feedback about your experience.

Tell me about the money and prizes!

Because your time is valuable, we offer an honorarium as a way of saying "thank you" for your participation in our research studies.

Survey takers earn gift certificates to Rochester cafes and restaurants, or a chance to win a number of prizes valued at a minimum of $100.

Focus group participants earn a minimum $50 cash per session.

Mystery shoppers earn a minimum of $10 cash per shopping experience.

What happens when I register?

When you register with ROpinionsResearch, we keep you informed of opportunities that may interest you. You simply tell us whether you’d like to participate in focus groups, mystery shopping or online surveys (or all three!) and we’ll email you when there’s a study that matches your profile.

Nothing! We pay you to participate! There is no participant fee, no training material to buy and no hidden cost at all.
